Information you give us
Your name, email, and password when you create an account, and payment information when you subscribe (processed securely by Stripe — we don't store full card numbers).
Content you create
The boards, drawings, text, shapes, and files you make or upload while using Drawalo.
Automatic data
Technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, and usage analytics, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account;
- Provide the whiteboard service and real-time collaboration;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and free trials;
- Send important emails (receipts, security notices, updates, and support replies);
- Improve the product, understand usage, and fix bugs.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies (for login/session management) and analytics cookies (to understand how the Service is used). You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without essential cookies.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run Drawalo, including:
- Payments: Stripe;
- Hosting & infrastructure: our cloud hosting provider;
- Analytics: our product analytics tool;
- Email: our transactional email provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process.
6. Data Storage & Security
We protect your data using encryption in transit, access controls, and secure servers hosted by reputable cloud providers. While we work hard to safeguard your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and Content within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations. Backups may persist for a limited time.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal data under either law.

Drawalo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
